David @ University of Central Florida

My name is David and I am a senior at the University of Central Florida. Our team is building a hybrid rocket using additive manufacturing for some of the components. Hybrid rocketry combines a solid fuel grain with a liquid or gaseous oxidizer (in our case, paraffin wax and Nitrous Oxide). My responsibility is communications with the rocket which is why I was looking at the YARD Stick One. We have an onboard telemetry unit which uses a transceiver to send data from the rocket and receive commands in the 70cm Ham Band (same as the YARD Stick One).
