October 21, 2019

This post covers how to sniff a Mifare 1K tag with the ProxmarkPro.

For this blog post you will need the following:

1. Navigate to HF Sniff section. HF 13.56MHz -> Sniff ISO14A.

2. Place ProxmarkPro HF antenna over reader and begin sniffing.

3. Place Mifare 1K tag over ProxmarkPro antenna and reader. Allow some time for the ProxmarkPro to sniff the traffic. Stop the ProxmarkPro by pressing the <- button. The information will now be saved to a folder on the SD Card called SNIFF14A under SNIFF#.txt

4. Eject your SD card and connect it to your computer. When you open the SNIFF#.txt file you should see traffic similar to the example below.

Start = Start of Start Bit, End = End of last modulation. Src = Source of Transfer
iso14443a - All times are in carrier periods (1/13.56Mhz)
iClass - Timings are not as accurate

     Start | End | Src | Data (! denotes parity error) | CRC | Annotation |
